Living well with dementia

The vision of Dementia Canterbury is a world where people live well with dementia, where they can continue to lead meaningful and socially enriched lives, whilst remaining in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible. A world where people make the most of life – pre and post a dementia diagnosis.

Dementia is one of New Zealand’s most significant healthcare challenges. The number of people with dementia in New Zealand is forecast to grow exponentially in the next couple of decades. For every person with dementia there is a wider family, a network of friends, whanau and often colleagues who need information and support. Your gift, of any size, can increase the quality of life of many.

As a not-for-profit, we rely heavily on the generosity of people like you to be able to support the Canterbury and West Coast communities.
