Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBC) is the national charity dedicated to supporting patients and their families living with blood cancers like leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood conditions.
Our mission is to care. Our vision is to cure.
There are an estimated 21,000 families in New Zealand affected by blood cancer, and we are reaching approximately 40% of newly diagnosed patients each year. As the only support service of its kind in NZ, we have a duty of care to be there for those who need us most.
LBC receives no government funding and is reliant on donations to be able to continue to provide our core services.
A bequest to Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand will be used to support our mission to care for patients, carers and families and help us achieve our vision to find a cure for leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma and related blood conditions.
