What we do at Include A Charity

Gifts left in wills, or bequests, form the basis of many charities in New Zealand. Without these gifts, many charities would struggle to survive. New Zealand is reported to be one of the most generous* countries in the world, and gifts in wills are growing. 

Include a Charity works with fundraisers of charities, helping the to encourage their supporters to leave a gift in their will. By working with charities we are raising awareness about how easy it is for people to a.) make a will and b.) leave a gift to to a charity in their will. Together with our member charities we are increasing charitable bequests and promoting them as a real, and uniquely powerful, option for people to support causes that they care about.

We are part of an international alliance of charities from around the world who are all committed to encouraging gifts in wills.   

Include A Charity operates from the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand's offices in Wellington, under the management of FINZ.
